Listen up, dads!

Emu's and seahorses are special. The males take care of the young instead of the females! A female emu will just lay 7-12 green eggs and then leave the male to incubate them. After the eggs hatch, the male will care for the chicks until they are large enough to fend for themselves.
A male seahorse will store the eggs in his brood pouch, and then release the "fry"(baby seahorses) after 2-4 weeks.
